This is a bit of an adventure...as a computer neanderthal, but I wanted to find a way to talk about my work with others who are interested in art as well. So here goes...

Painting for me is a way to talk about the world and it lets you tell your own story. Although I live in a small country town, it has a vibrant art scene that nutures artists.

This is a collection of my work from a show I did in May this year called Water from the Moon; some of this work will also be displayed in my next show at the end of October, this year.

The work is about two main themes; water and the powerful influence of the moon. The title comes from an expression from Christopher Koch's book, The Year of Living Dangerously, which loosley translated from an Indonesian phrase meaning the impossible is possible.

I'll keep you posted as we move toward deadline for the next show and will put up some of the other works as they come out of the pipeline.
